Website Update!

Urgent message to all viewers!

"Yahoo" our current website hosting provider has informed us that the software that we currently use to script our website may not be completely functional in the very near future. What that means in laymens / modelers terms is; it's going to "crash".

I know that is a nasty word to use amoung modelers, but we have no other choice. Please be patient while our website is being "rebuilt", as it is going to take awhile to get the site completey back up and functional. Many of the links on this our new "Home Page" are not yet functional, but will be shortly.

In the mean time, go to field, fly, and you too can have an opportunity to "rebuild" something.

August 7, 2011 Electric Fly-In

image

I just want to take a moment of your time to thank those who came to the Electric Fly-In. The volunteers get my special thanks for assisting with helping organize and keep the event running smoothly. Thanks to Mark Livesay for keeping us all well-fed. The feedback I've received on the event has been overwhelmingly positive and, based on that feedback, I'm going to suggest that we add this event to next year's calendar now so we can get the event into the AMA magazine and get the word out to vendors early about it. Maybe next year we can get them to set up a booth or two and continue to grow the event from there! Again, my thanks to all who came and hung out, helped and flew. If you didn't make it this year, then I'll hope to see you next year!
